Kinderhaven 2019

Among the many traditions we have in the Endless Artroom, none is more important or rewarding than our participation in the Kinderhaven Festival of Trees. Kinderhaven is an organization that supports children in crisis in our small rural community.

The Festival of Trees is a fun, holiday event in which local businesses curate a themed tree to be auctioned off. I’ve been decorating trees with my students since 2007. We’ve explored themes like values, buttons, the circus, the Renaissance and nature. Our theme this year: Steampunk.

I’m proud to say, the ornaments my students made and assembled helped raise over 10,000 for Kinderhaven! We’ll done FBCS.
